Wayne practices in the fields of business litigation and public entity defense.
Wayne began his legal career as a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps, where he served on active duty from 2010 to 2016. He tried cases from both sides of the courtroom. As a prosecutor, he built and presented the government's case in coordination with agents of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. As defense counsel, he developed his own investigations, located and prepared his own witnesses, and tested the government's evidence before military juries. That experience shaped how he approaches civil litigation today: he evaluates a case the way an opponent will build it, identifies the proof that will matter at trial, and prepares from the outset for the courtroom rather than the file. In his final billet, Wayne served as Officer in Charge of the Tax Center and Legal Assistance Office. He retired from the Marine Corps at the rank of Captain.
Since leaving active duty, Wayne has practiced in the state and federal courts of California and is the principal of The Quint Firm. He joined Dean Gazzo Roistacher LLP as Of Counsel in August 2026, where his practice focuses on business and commercial disputes and on the defense of public entities and their employees.
