John Kelly is an attorney in the firm’s litigation practice group. Mr. Kelly focuses on a wide range of civil litigation cases, specifically construction related disputes. He is licensed to practice in the state of California and admitted before both state and federal court. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kelly was an associate at a defense firm in Long Beach where he focused on guiding clients through the litigation process and helping them reach swift and positive outcomes.
In 2013, Mr. Kelly received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2018, he obtained his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. While at Loyola, Mr. Kelly was awarded the highest-grade distinction in Mergers & Acquisitions, Trusts and Wills, and Torts II. Mr. Kelly also was an editorial member of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. While at Loyola, Mr. Kelly won the 2017 James B. Boskey Law Student Essay Contest on Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Kelly enjoys reading, skiing, and playing lacrosse in his spare time. He also enjoys spending time with his rescue dog, Lola.
