About
Jessica obtained her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During her time in law school, Jessica was awarded Academic Merit Scholarships, was consistently recognized on the Dean’s Honor List, earned two Distinguished Advocate Awards for excellence in oral advocacy, and served as the Executive Editor of Notes and Comments for the California Western Law Review. While in law school, Jessica gained invaluable experience as a law clerk for the San Diego Family Law Facilitator’s Officer and the Office of the Public Defender. Prior to joining DGR, Jessica practiced as an associate attorney at a local family law firm and also worked in the area of consumer protection.
