Alyssa graduated from California State University San Marcos with a B.A. in Human Development, with a concentration in Counseling Services. Alyssa went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law located in San Diego, California. While in law school, Alyssa was a member of the of the Mock Trial Team and Moot Court Honors Board. Prior to joining DGR, Alyssa worked for the San Diego County Public Defenders Office where she committed herself to representing indigent individuals facing criminal charges. Alyssa then transitioned to practicing family law where she worked as an associate attorney at a North San Diego County law firm. There, Alyssa gained invaluable experience representing clients in all facets of family law. Alyssa also previously worked as a staff attorney for a firm that specialized in court appointed receiverships.
